I will submit this as the world’s most reliable cheap car: 2005 Toyota Echo Hatchback. 200K km on, and I’ve replaced the tires twice, the batteries twice (it’s cold here in Canada), the wipers a few times (ditto) and regular oil changes. I expect another 200K km without issues. Bomber.
