Fair point…BUT STILL!
I'm legit impressed with SyFy's line up right now
Agreed. I respect Arrow for trying to take the show in a ballsy new direction and explore some darker themes but the execution left a lot to be desired. Plus Oliver was the most frustrating that he'd ever been that season.
Yeah The 100 was the dark horse of 2015 for me. It showed potential for greatness late in season 1 and goddamnit if it didn't deliver in season 2.
I appreciate Lucha Underground but there are moments when the camp levels and booking incoherence take me out of the show. Plus the matches have a tendency to be psychology-less spot fests with a lot of no sells. With that being said when it's firing on all cylinders (like it did at Ultima Lucha) it's arguably the…
I wouldn't say "always" but once again that undercuts what happened. We can dismantle it all we want but the proof is in the pudding, the same city that booed Roman out of the building in the beginning of the year legitimately popped for him winning the belt at the end of it. WWE needs to remember everything that they…
She did a hell of a job selling the Alura scene, especially given how flimsy the groundwork was
They might have not been holistically on his side the entire night but that's still a big turn around from where he was at earlier this year. Yes the booking finally did Roman a solid but he's also been busting his ass. He got cheered to high heaven at TLC both because he raged against the Authority and because it was…
Doesn't even necessarily have to be the Austin method. That's a lane that's more suited for a guy like Dean Ambrose. Roman's more of an enforcer/vigilante than he is a rebel/habitual line stepper. I'd say late 90s Goldberg more than Stone Cold. Have him be a defiant gladiator who won't bow the knee to anyone by his…
What a eloquently written response, you sir are a gentlemen and a scholar.
Yeah they're dangerously low on viable heel title contenders at this point. I really wish we could see that Shield Triple Threat but I suppose that'll have to happen further down the line.
This is Papa NXT Trips, not Golden Shovel Trips so I doubt that he wouldn't put Roman over.
Exactly
That'll most likely happen (and it'd be a hell of a contest) though I'd rather see Owens & Lesnar square off.
I think it has a lot to do with him being bad with line readings. There have been moments where you see things fall into place with him on the mic but they're few and far between. I honestly feel like Roman is more of a backstage/taped promo guy.
This is true. I'm nothing if not hopeful though (which has bit me in the ass many times with this damn company lol)
The key isn't so much to have Roman be a beserker all of the time (that'd be like Finn wearing his Demon paint all of the time) but to simply have him continue to not take shit from anyone, even if it results in him getting his ass kicked.
If they're smart they're gonna finally have Trips and Roman square off at Mania
While he's not the Ring God/General that Rollins is, I think that Roman has more than proven himself to be a reliable hand in big matches this year. He's repeatedly been a part the top 3 Matches of the Night for almost every PPV that he's been apart in 2015 (hell he even carried Big Show to a hell of a Last Man…
