Yeah, I was hoping for the same thing. I'm REALLY hoping that this doesn't become a season long problem because it'll undo a lot of the good that S4 has done.

In Oliver's defense, he wasn't exactly as his most clearheaded. From his fact finding mission to him finding out the truth to Felicity finding him out everything happened very fast and he didn't really have a whole lot of time to process everything. I do agree that the circumstances are contrived though which is…
He also did a particularly great job with selling the whole discovery of his son and the toll of having to keep it a secret. When he got found out by Felicity you could tell that he was feeling a lot of different things and it was really heartbreaking to watch
It was sort of a slight regression but I understand where Oliver's coming from because this all really did just pop up out of nowhere on him (I also think it helped that Amell sold the moment really well). The way he went about it might've been less than ideal but I also can't say that I blame him for holding it close…
Hmmm…I actually wouldn't hate that. I see him as a bit more of a Hellion myself but I can dig it.
I'm REAAAAALLY not sure if Ward can be redeemed realistically but I'm listening lol. What makes you think he's gonna get Ion powers?
Oh riiiiiiight. I totally forgot about Cal. Was he even really a flat out villain? The lines blurred with him so frequently that I wasn't even truly sure.
Felicity: "I heard that honey!"
I was actually counting both film and TV villains. While DC's got some clunkers too, their villains tend to be more inherently memorable than Marvel's roll out. At least to me.
Well played sir. The movie is still awesome too.
Hey I'm not saying that all of Marvel's villains have been lackluster but their heroes tend to stand out more for me. Kingpin & Kilgrave are both amazing but new developments (I'd also throw Grant Ward into the pile). Before that the MCU really just had Loki and Red Skull going for them.
I've personally heard that a lot of people were pretty underwhelmed with him. Then again that's just from my personal experience. To me the MCU Villain Power ranking goes:
I dig Carter but not them together. Not yet at least.
Anyone else get serious Christoph Waltz vibes from Casper Crump (who's name TOTALLY sounds like the name a white krumper would give himself)?
Questionable anger sideplot aside, I don't think that I've ever loved Thea more than I have this season
I'm one of the few that actually really enjoyed Spader's Ultron but I do agree that Savage is more inherently interesting so far. Then again, DC's always been better with villains than Marvel.
Seriously, aside from a few wonky details here and there I feel like S4 Arrow has been firing on all cylinders; but in a different way than S2 Arrow was firing on all cylinders due to the scope of the show being expanded in a big way.
"Bunch of Superheroes in a farmhouse? I feel like I've seen that in a movie before…"
HUZZAH!!!
Dat lip quiver
