So…we're not gonna address Meg saying that she wanted to get Tommy pregnant?!
So…we're not gonna address Meg saying that she wanted to get Tommy pregnant?!
Well even still I'd still say that Alexandria is they true anomoly here. Even with the Farm it was really in-fighting that screwed them. I think Rick's done a solid job doing his best to keep everyone alive within his group but he's proven to be questionable at best at being town leader. Then again given the fact that…
Alexandria is different though because they're the first one that wasn't in direct opposition with the group. We, as viewers, wanted to see Woodbury and, ESPECIALLY, Terminus get laid to waste because they were overseen by inherently evil people. Alexandria's cardinal sin is being ignorant to the world which is…
I've been a vehement Team Rick supporter since Season 5 but the Great Zombie Cancer Walk 2k15, for all it's good intentions, has been the first time in a while where I've legit side eyed him. Just like Zack said, while not all of this is on Rick (an unprecedented amount of circumstantial bullshit has happened…
Hell yeah, Alexander Dreymon was great throughout the entire episode but he was especially fantastic in that scene. The look of horror in his eyes, the primal yell that he let out as he parkour'd over the shield wall and laid waste of everything in sight and the ultimate moment of catharsis when he stared down a dying…
It's supposed to be young Darlene I believe
I wouldn't say that it's the show's only theme but they really do have a bad habit of driving that point home. That's precisely the reason why I was vehemently against Glenn's "death" if it actually stuck. I personally don't want to see Morgan go (he's one of my favorite characters and Lennie James is a revelation)…
Even the Glenn situation shouldn't be rising so much ire from people. Sure it may have been a bit of a stretch but they handled in it an way that was AT LEAST somewhat plausible.
True but they've also made strides toward more long term planning and a better understanding of visual story telling so I try not to treat the show like it's the same animal as it was before (even though it falls into old habits sometimes). I agree that Beth's death was totally avoidable but Tyreese's death felt like…
I feel like the show's gotten better at injecting legit hope into it's narrative little by little. It's not as relentlessly cutthroat as it's been in the past and it actually feels like they're thinking about the long game moreso than shock value at this point in the show. I could very well end up being wrong though,…
I wouldn't be so sure about Daryl. I know that Rick isn't ACTUALLY going anyway, just kind of running with a train of thought that was nagging at me
Idk man, this show can be pretty damn dumb at times and they have a penchant for morbidity but I just don't think that they'd do something like that. Or at least I'm really hoping that they won't. I believe in Scott Gimple enough as a show runner to hold out hope.
Ah I gotcha. Yeah I'd really like everyone to get back together at this point so we can get on with it. I love the show too much and am too close to most of it's main characters right now to even consider giving up on it but some legit story progression would be nice.
Yeah they definitely blew through a good portion of their half season budget in those first 3 episodes (especially in the season premiere).
*COMIC AND POTENTIAL SHOW SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!*
Yeah episode 5 was definitely the season's lowest point. I feel like the No Way Out storyline will carry us over into the back half of this season but will be relatively short lived because we still need to meet Jesus & The Hilltop crew before our impending crash course with Negan.
I feel like they took a risk with the format, and I appreciate that, but the execution has kind of been all over the place. I personally enjoyed the Abe side plot of last week's episode (plus it aided in the world building in it's own way) and I kind of dig Denise's character but yeah they've fallen back into some…
What I Liked About This Week's Episode:
Great great episode and definitely one of the best in a very sound season of television. As the reviewer stated, I really love the way that the show explores the importance & impact of belief systems. I especially liked Alfred's journey throughout the episode, his blinders are coming off and his whole world is slowly…
I get that but it still doesn't work for me. There's no way in hell that Hakeem won over that vehemently pro Freda crowd that quickly just by jumping around and the call & response literally made no sense. Like I said I get what they were going for but I really wish that they would've had Hakeem shock everyone and…
