I agree. In a way while Elliot is the tragic hero, Angela has become the everyman character which I can get behind.

I think her plea of "I just needed a job" was telling as well. She may have altruistic intentions but she's completely out of her depth and desperate which makes her more susceptible to corruption. Especially when it's presented with such gusto and downright oppressive aura.
