*Sigh* I still feel like they could've gone a different route with it (like something closer to how the story went in the books). It felt like something done more for shock than something that really needed to happen in the story. Now going into Stannis vs The Boltons I'm really only rooting for Stannis because the

In their defense, that was probably never gonna look amazing on a TV budget anyway

Maybe uncalled for wasn't the correct phrase but it still feels a bit out of character. He's a religious zealot but he still loves the shit out of his daughter. It just felt weird to see him searching for justification and then going through with it. Especially since he never did that in the book.

Then why even give us that scene with him giving that "Father of year" speech with Shireen?

The difference is this is his daughter whom he explicitly stated that no harm would come to on his watch. I get that he was getting a bit desperate but that was just uncalled for.

Anyone notice how that scene was almost a shot for shot remake of the Battle of Geonosis from Attack of the Clones?

Takeaways from Tonight's GoT Episode:

Hm I hadn't actually broken it down like that. Another poster here said that they should've had the street dancers that they were unsure on do a contemporary choreo and vice versa for the stage dancers which I feel would've been a solid and relatively fair way to filter things but I see what you're saying. This season

Roman's batting 4 for 4 thus far in big PPV matches since Mania and I really look forward to seeing how he continues to grow.

Well at least in the case of Bray it works for him. Not only does it make his surprising explosive speed feel like a bigger deal but it enhances his look.

I wholeheartedly agree

Derulo's latent homophobia and Courtney's uncomfortable begging aside I kind of agree with what they were saying about the audition. He was definitely energetic but it was also all over the place. He came off more like a really fun party dancer more than someone ready for competition. If the choreo round were still

Reigns had a wonderfully booked and energetic match with Show at Extreme Rules. After that there's literally no need to revisit it. Ever.

Except you know…good

I'm certainly not saying that he shouldn't

Bo could definitely clean up some of his ring work but I definitely wouldn't call him lousy. The only thing that makes him hard to take seriously to me is how soft he is in the midsection. Whenever he does his victory lap that damn belly flap is so distracting lol.

I feel like Street vs Stage could've worked if they would've kept in the choreo round and filtered out the bullshit. I get why they decided to test out this concept but the execution of it has me concerned.

I feel like once we go to NY or venture toward the west coast more diversity will show up. Everyone knows that black people were invented in Memphis.

As much as I LOVE street dancing, there's no doubt in my mind that they did away with the choreo round this season because of the Street vs Stage format, which is a horrible idea. Even though they seemed to get a bit lenient with the Vegas tickets in recent years, at least there was a bit of suspense and frustration

Letting Roman just go out there and have fun with his BFF while also having him come "close but no cigar" in title matches has done wonders for his face run. Post-Mania Roman has been an absolute blast.
