Agreed. Arrow seldom ever falls flat on it's face.

Leaving him dead is less about the mystery and more about keeping the severity of the incident intact as well as giving the other characters a bit more breathing room. He didn't have to stay dead for the whole back end of the season but they he can't even spend a whole episode deceased after such a huge moment? I

Arrow's second season was pretty much firing on all cylinders from the jump but yeah you're right about it usually kicking into a higher gear after the midseason finale.

Ummmm there are a lot of moving parts this season outside of Olicity, have you even been paying attention? There's The League of Assassins, Laurel taking up her fallen sister's mantle, Roy attempting to reach his potential, Thea's worrisome relationship with Malcolm as well as the stuff with Ray Palmer. Despite it's

Incompetent is a strong word. Albeit the first half of season 3 has been rough, I feel like they were still delivering average to above average television weakly. The "Who Killed Sara?" wasn't the best plot line to build a half season arc around but with the focus now seemingly divided on Ollie's recovery (though they

The John Wick prequel looks weird

Yeah season 3A has been rough but I'd still personally put it above AoS which improved in a big way but still bores me a bit at times. Arrow also still has better characters as a whole to me.

If The Flash can achieve the quality level that Arrow achieved in season 2 then I might rank it a bit above Arrow. for right now though it's still 2nd place for me.

AIIIIGHT! AIIIGHT!

Lmao I feel stupid as hell now

"Let's get sauw-ced"

I would LOVE to see a modern remake of The Rocketeer

Right?! Such an amazing scene. TVD has had some powerful moments but that was the only time that I've almost been driven to tears watching it. It was one of those rare moments in television where everything lined up perfectly and it's only compacted by the fact that it puts focus on, what should be the strongest but

I haven't watched the episode yet but I'm glad that you're back because I was missing the reviews here. Especially during with the 5th episode which had arguably the best Damon & Stefan moment in the entire series. If you see this, what were your thoughts on that scene?

Not to mention the dual homage to Oldboy and The Raid: Redemption in "The Undertaking" when he saved Walter (which is still arguably the best singular fight scene for Oliver in the show thus far).

Lol I feel like that has more to do with who Oliver is as a person than it does Amell as an actor but I kind of see what you're talking about. The main reason I can't not put Amell in the top 3 is because he has a full understanding of his character at this point. He IS Oliver Queen.

Aberkung Fu

I love Emily but calling her the best actor on the show is a definite stretch to me. I'd put Barrowman and Amell (who's nuanced acting is top notch at this point) over her.

Arrow's fight choreography when Oliver's involved is almost always on point but it was nice to see Roy & Diggle get some really strong action sequences here (especially Roy who usually struggles in that department since Colton Haynes doesn't have any significant martial arts training).

I wouldn't say he out acts EVERYONE but he's definitely one of the stronger actors on the show.
