Oh I know that he wasn't "squeaky clean" perfect and you could be right but the point is that the show does a good job of painting the picture of what Macgruder thinks it might be like if that scenario played out.

What I enjoy the most about Black Jesus is that as a Christian it does a good job of theoretically answering the question of "What would it be like if Jesus was alive in this day and age?" in a hilarious and pretty thoughtful manner. Sure I highly doubt that he'd be a weed smoking deviant with a foul mouth but I think

That's also possible. Given the nature of the show I'm not really ruling anything out.

As someone who's never seen it I couldn't tell you lol

Fair enough it is a bit more of a damsel in distress sort of thing

I feel like he may be more of a natural predator. Like he doesn't feel satisfied with a win unless he's stalked his prey and torn them down first. That would explain his approach to sex as well.

Ah yeah I see it too now. But yeah I feel like he was lying, especially with the way they flashed back to what he gathered from his investigation. He totally wanted to get her off his back because she was losing it.

Yeah several people have stated that as the reason for Connor sniping Michaela so hard so I'll just go with that. It just seems a tad lopsided since Connor goes at her so harshly.

He's definitely the rough and tumble type. I mean just look at that facial hair. That's the facial hair of a man who knows how to bare knuckle brawl.

I could've sworn that Annalise's cop boyfriend was lying through his teeth about her husband's alibi being solid

This is most likely the very simple reason and it's just the fact that he's almost cartoonishly conniving that makes me think that there's a deeper reason.

It's slang referring to a guy who tends to go after lost causes in hopes of saving them from themselves so to speak.

He's Cap'n Save-a-hoe. In the words of the almighty simp lord Drake, "I'm just saying you could do better".

Indeed. I don't think that I've ever seen a show use flash-forwards as a consistent narrative device before this. The most intriguing part is going to be witnessing Wes' descent into darkness. I have a feeling that he's the one who truly becomes most like Annalise.

While I'm still enjoying the hell out of this show in the most shameless way that a 25 year old black man can, I'm beginning to see certain things that I'm gonna need to be touched on/answered soon. Two major things being why Connor is so hellbent on tormenting Michaela and why Frank & Laurel are drawn to one another.

It might be the most outrageous thing that they've ever done and dear God it was glorious

Peele's delivery was fan-fuckin-tastic on that part

I can only imagine the nerd outrage that would draw if they pulled a stunt like that lol.

Ollie oddly became a Green Lantern candidate in that moment

I definitely wouldn't be against that
