I understand what the author is saying, but he’s going a little too far in his sarcasm. Its more like this:

I’ve been pondering if the emotion of the movie pulls more on people who have siblings, than those who do not.

I’m paying for the meal, the chef is there for me, I’m not there for him.

Those are the people that you drop from Facebook and evaluate if they should even be in your life.

My cat loves me too, but I know that her little “love nibbles” are just to see how I would taste. ;)

I recommend trying a cup with just a dash of salt. It’ll get rid of the bitterness of the coffee, which is what I hear most people have issues with.
