You will only live as long as your cat deems you to be useful.

Thank you for writing this article!

I worked for Nintendo Consumer Service briefly back in late 2008 to early 2009.

Father of a 3-year-old and former waiter here...

I’m a white guy and I am clearly confused. Was I suppose to be offended by the casting in Black Panther? As a Marvel comic fan, I would be offended if the cast was mostly white.

I’ve been trying to watch the news from other (non-U.S.) countries, like Japan. Bad things are still happening, but the state of the world seems a lot less “doom-and-gloom”.

“Anchorage” Police, not “Ancohrage”.

No, I am not trolling. But thinking about it, my sense of time is off, so it may have been a few decades ago and not “years”.

Sorry, I did not write that as I intended to say it. What I meant to write was, “In recent years, the definition of rape being taught, to men, has been expanded to having sex with a woman who is passed out or unresponsive.” I’m also not saying that it was right because they were ignorant.

To men, it is the “she’s playing hard-to-get” scenario. They are not thinking, “I forced her”, but rather, “I finally convinced her”.

I’m the same way and it drives my wife crazy. She tries to tend to me when I am sick and I won’t let her.

Wait, she’s been a 2-year relationship with no sex for half of the relationship? And, any time she tries, he does not want to? I don’t know how many red flags she needs, but this is a A LOT of them.

Knowing this now makes me feel even worse for the kid, because I can identify even more with him.

I can ask the same from you. Why is it that there is nothing she can do wrong? That is the same attitude that Trump supporters have of him. I always thought of us Liberals/Democrats as the party that is critical of our candidates. Maybe I am wrong and politics is the new religion.

I agree that it is easier to demonize women. It is also easier to demonize someone who has been in the spotlight for a long time. Part of what got Bill (Clinton) and Obama elected was because they were relatively unknowns. Hillary has been running for POTUS since 1999.

That’s just it; I don’t agree that it was a “white man controlling the media” happening for the 2016 election. Trump got more coverage because he was a giant train wreck. And, the media was more concerned about getting viewers than doing its job of reporting the news. They are only now (slowly) learning that fact.

Maybe we shouldn’t engage in behavior that is immoral in the first place?

I’m getting tired of the blame-game with Clinton’s loss. Most of the reason she lost is because she was politically toxic going into the election. I’m not saying that her gender was not a factor for some, but most of those people were already voting Republican.

Your last sentence, “It was a virus”, is the entire reason for a cold.

I’ve not heard the description, “coily” used before to describe the tight-curls that a black person’s hair (often) has. Usually, I hear the terms, “curly” or “tight curls”. I like “coily” better, because it is like saying. “tight curls, like a coil would have.”
