The problem with the RS movies (and most of the films he directs) is that Anderson writes the films too, and he is just awful at that part of film making.

"Mmmm, franks and beans"
If I remember correctly the problem was in the original version the baby is crying as they're burying it, which meant they buried it alive. The re-done version had the cries edited out, so it looks like they're burying it because it died, not because it was messed up.
I was once really gung-ho for them adapting this, but probably not so much nowadays, especially since I get the feeling they could make the first one, find it doesn't blow the box office away and then just abandon the entire thing.
Well weren't the last 3 just spun out as quick as he could after the car hit him and he was worried about dying before finishing them? Whereas the first 4 were written just whenever ideas came to him in between writing all his other stuff.
He's been talking about it on Twitter a fair bit, which I don't think he'd do if he was just in 1 episode.
Agreed. I don't like the idea of a Big Trouble remake, but I could see the Rock in that sort of movie where he absolutely destroys it.
So one guy became a huge movie star. Another guy became a TV star and Internet darling. And the other dude nearly disappeared completely and I've only ever seen him guest star in eps on X-Files and Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Talk about the entire spectrum of Hollywood success!
Yep. That's him.
My quick guess would be Mike Farrell since I heard he'd tried to talk Gary Burgoff out of leaving the show saying he'd be stupid to leave a show that was doing so well.
I've gone through different levels of appreciation for the characters as I've grown and continued to watch the series. I hated Frank Burns as a kid, but now find him to be one of my favourite characters, and while Hawkeye was my favourite as a kid, I know find him slightly preachy and annoying and prefer Trapper John…
There's a good Twitter account called @AfterMASH. Some of my favs.
I love Black Dynamite so so much. Undisputed 2 is a very entertaining movie too (as is the 3rd). I'm surprised he hasn't been brought back to do another Universal Soldier, but I think they're pretending the 2nd one never happened.
I reckon he could still make an awesome Blade.
Don't listen to a lot of game soundtracks, but the FF7 (and Advent Children) soundtracks get played fairly often, as well as Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
Devastator! Can't believe I forgot him.
"we would have also accepted Voltron, Superion, Bruticus or Menasor."
Why do bad things keep happening in the world?
"Knock knock"
"Who's there?"
"Go fuck yourselves"
They stole that from McBain!
