Haha, no worries! I'm still trying to make sense of my feelings about it too! Yours and the other descriptions make complete sense to me. My problem was more thematic than scientific. I don't feel they did a great job letting the audience in on how it would help. They devoted pages of dialog to fluffy metaphysical

This is pretty much how I imagine Ep. 7's trailer's gonna be like. And if all the rumor's I've been reading are true, we should have a teaser very, very soon :) x 100,000

You don't hafta be ashamed, that was badass. Lock S-Foils in attack position, and lets kick some ass.

Touche' :)

I thought the same thing! I thought the theater was gonna shake to the ground, and I credit that score for keeping me anxious the whole movie.

My thoughts exactly

I'm just glad there's now "Dawn" in the title. I'm tired of movies with "Dawn" in the title.

I'm actually pretty okay with the title—I'm just happy I have an excuse to post one of my favorite gifs.

I've had a few replies (pending and not) to that post explaining what they were probably trying to do, and every one of them does a better job of explaining it better than a movie that loved sciencey-sounding exposition. That's why I love coming to io9. Thanks y'all! :)

You just did a great That makes perfect sense to me! My only wish is that you had been the script-writer grapepizza, or they used some of that expository dialog they loved so much to take the thirty seconds to say exactly that, and not wasted it on the hokier stuff

I think you're right about the Nolan boys having a hard time translating what Thorne was saying into the script. What you just wrote made perfect sense to me (a complete physics dunce, but, in my not-so-humble opinion, fairly knowledgeable compared to the average movie watcher—yet in the film, (and again, maybe it's

It's probably bad form to my own post, but I forgot to mention that I did love Hans Zimmer's heavy-handed, pipe-organ-filled score.

I saw it last night, and like you, the best description I could come up with was "beautiful mess." I'm nowhere near a physicist, but even with my scant pop-sci knowledge, I knew a lot of that scientific stuff was mumbo-jumbo. Solving gravity? What in the hell does that mean? And how did solving it help people get off

Amen

Awwwww hell yes!

From one of my very favorite books. The devil plays tricks on residents of 1930s Soviet Moscow. He's violent, and pretty amoral, but damn if he isn't affable and whimsical. Plus his cadre of buffoonish (and again, violent) demons are hard not to like.

Amen!

Creepy Crawlers were scorching fingers well into the 90s. I should know, I have the scars to prove it.

ALSO on the page with the concept art, the pictures with the cyborg fella looking at Vader's helmet are titled "Grave Robber." Luke wouldn't be "robbing" any grave. I'm hoping as hard as I can that Luke doesn't turn out to be evil.

Is there a chance the track could bend?
