Yep...Colony Park wagons for those who thought the Country Squires were too much a wagon of the hoi polloi.

It’s a sign of the decline of America. I would like to think it’s a recognition that cars last longer and you can conserve environmental and financial resources, but it’s not because Americans since WW2 have been rampant consumers.

Get out of my brain.

Too bad you sold project redwood.  You could’ve taken Free Jeep and Redwood and perhaps made something that was more iron than iron oxide.

CP.  There’s a guy who imports these in St. Petersburg, FL who lists them all the time on Ebay and go for way less.

Why stop with the V6?  How about it goes unibody, too?

The G37 was a favorite car of mine- so very quick. But if you’re hauling kids, the back seat’s a bit tight (assuming this guy’s kids are not toddlers and/or he’s not on the shorter side).

The Scout would be cool, but the rust on one less than $15k would be significant. As long as your “easy to work on” includes a welder for replacing rocker panels and floors, sure it’s easy to work on. There are crack pipes and there are crack whores. One’s bad, the other’s a whole world of nastiness that you shun your eyes from and ponder how things got to that point while fleeing from the sight of it. CW.

Rear legroom is good for adults (I was riding in the back seat of one today), but it seems that the orientation of a rear facing car seat would cause the front passenger to have to scoot up a fair amount.

We shall see this week, won’t we?

Don’t limit yourself- I’m sure Junior and Erik will want theirs, too.

Seems like a great opportunity to tow would be them hooking you up with one and towing POStal to Easter Safari.

Now, if only Guy can find his shot because I’m wincing every time he throws it up beyond the arc.

Time value of money here will always make the train a losing proposition unless you’re going under 5 hours from the heart of one major metroplex to another. I recently took Britain’s national rail service from London to Edinburgh and loved it, but I wasn’t under a time crunch and everything I read said renting a car
