Yeah, from the couple people I know who work in restaurants and are privy to the catering and delivery numbers, they say if you like the restaurant to never order your food through an uber eats, doordash, yelp, etc portal. The cut that those delivery app companies take is astronomical and a lot of orders end up losing

This whole thing just seems like an unviable business model. Drivers are getting shit pay, restaurants are probably close to losing any margin on these deliveries. Doubt doordash itself has actually turned a real profit either. Fleecing investors doesn’t count as real profit in my book

how coincidental that i took this at sunset yesterday :(

I got stuck with a Kia as a rental in Baltimore back around 2000 or so, miserable little car.

I always thought people rolled coal because they were very insecure about their balls.

Those San Jose weirdos are actually driving around in Priuses, Teslas, and Subarus. At least pick an accurate stereotype.

I hope they yank the guy’s license. He’s a ‘suicide by pilot just waiting to happen.

Old technology is the foundation of enthusiast cars:

I agree, I have an orange one! I might drive it to test drive the new Z just for fun.

Or...hear me out! 195hp, FWD, raised up a little add some extra doors and because Nissan is fancy like that throw in an awesome CVT!!!

This is like the anti-Supra. Understated instead of over-styled, distinct nods to its heritage. Give it the 400hp TT V6 and a stick, price it in the low-40s to compete with the Mustang GT and undercut the I6 Supra, and you’d have to win hearts and minds of enthusiasts everywhere, right?

these companies need to get over their stupid shit about their own proprietary chargers...

Last year, a driver in Germany crashed his Tesla while trying to adjust his wiper speed. He got his license suspended for operating an electronic device while driving.(on the Tesla, that is done on the touchscreen, and can take several seconds)

So I’m wondering, with all the laws passed about “No texting and driving”, how does having the whole center console being a touchscreen affect it? Isn’t it as dangerous to look at a giant touchscreen to do something as it is a small one, especially one with button layouts that vary depending on which screen you’re on?

I always thought it was odd he lived in that dream house, with a beautiful wife, a son who owns a factory and lobster for dinner.. Meanwhile I live in a single room over a bowling alley and under another bowling alley.

Aurora police: Walk down the street while black? Death sentence

If it lets games run at 1080p with better frame rates that’s perfectly fine for me.

Not necessarily related to the charging network...
