While I agree with most, the backup camera is one feature that I find great in cars. Even with great visibility, you get a better idea of how close you are to the car/object/wall behind you. It does seem like some cars, especially the 4 door coupe styles, have used this as a crutch to create more stylish cars while

Mostly miss the ability to not have to look at the screen. Otherwise don’t miss T9

Nissan really went downhill since the mid-late 2000's. Even in the late 90's, they really didn’t have anything great in their line-up excluding the 5th gen Maxima and Pathfinder, while Infiniti being just a poor rebadge lineup. Seemed like with the early 2000's, they were rebounding with the intro of the last Q45, the

The base GT starts at 39k. Looking at local ones, they have the only package added which bring it up to 43k, but after discounts they’re going for 36k. Not a bad price for what it offers. Depreciation will still hit it hard but at least it’ll be less of a worry with such discounts.

true but useful to me. No amount of effort can fix stupidity

Benefit with the discounts is you can even get Optima’s, Altima’s, etc for sub-$20k with discounts now. Without those, there are plenty of nice compacts in that range as you mentioned. Think the more expensive and better optioned cars, CUVs, and trucks skew the metrics

Tire pressure warnings?? (Blame explorer owners for this one)

Exactly, it’s such a helpful tool when it comes to small things. Didn’t think much of it as I didn’t have issues parking before but it really does help get closer or get a better view.

People don’t want to look out the back window or use their mirrors when they’re backing up so now there are backup cameras

Still feel like Buick should have replaced Pontiac in being axed, especially since it seems like a half-step from a Chevy to a Cadillac. With how popular the Charger and 300's have been, Pontiac would have been a good case to have kept the G8 and SS around to provide another large, sporty, RWD V8 family car

I’m one not too fond of this for myself but can see this as a benefit for a lot for a lot of the population, mainly those that can’t or shouldn’t drive due to medical conditions or age.

Granted they weren’t on my radar, just one less reason to look at Ford when car shopping.

$410 a month? wow, that’s a car payment right there. guess I’m just more picky and while I would like to swap every 2 or 3 years, there’s just not enough cars in my price range that interest me. The few that do generally come across as underwhelming compared to expectation

I generally get a car and keep it for well past the loan length and until I either get tired of it, find something new and interesting, or the car is more expensive to fix than it’s worth it. Fastest I sold a car was 2.5 years after getting it and longest I held onto one to date is just over 10 years. Parents seems to

It’s more complicated than that. If you need to buy a car and all have screens, then there’s really no choice but to go with what’s available. Marketing sees this as a want so they expand the screens and remove buttons. We’re not there yet but teams are moving away from buttons to screens

ugh, why put HVAC controls in the screens? Just leave them as quick and easy to access buttons.

Same boat here, have the Withings Activite and bought the Steel HR Sport last year. Turned off all the notification setting in the Sport and while I like the Activite’s look better, it is nice having the screen to check time and such in the dark.

really wish they put in HVAC buttons so you don’t have to rely on the screen. As great and responsive as the screen was when I had a rental, the HVAC control was annoying.

I never had issues in any case the the M45, plowed or unplowed lanes. Drove it the same as my FWD or AWD cars. the AWD had that best pick up off the line in snow but once moving, there wasn’t any difference for me. I like driving in storms and there wasn’t ever a doubt in the M45 as to whether I can make it or not.

Drove an 06 M45 Sport for years with snow tires in Chicago and took it on roadtrips to Colorado for skiing. Threw on snowtires and the car handled all conditions without issues. Friend said the same with his 03 M45 during one of the blizzards in Chicago, no issues once you throw on snowtires
