T-Mobile user here and used to be a Verizon customer for a bit. yeah, they have great coverage but t-mobile is getting better and better. Apart from rural areas in the middle of nowhere, never had an issue with lack of reception. It’s great to have coverage in 100% of the places you go but when 1-2% is only for a week

Keep up the fight and don’t let the car go. It may be an old BMW but at least they cared more about quality back then.

Ouch, yeah that is painful. Car looks like it’s in good overall condition. Shame he couldn’t keep it or get something that was more enjoyable.

All depends on the old Z. If it was in the shop and costing money to fix, sure the wife had a valid point. Granted you can turn it into a side project at that point but that’s another discussion.

Funny how they’re killing them off here yet Buick brought us a hatch and wagon version (albeit more expensive), Kia brought us a hatch for the Stinger, and we’re seeing a lot of hatches popping up, even if they have sloped tailgates. I get their Fusion/Taurus vs CUV argument but would be nice if the Focus or Fiesto

The best us for bacon grease is a Polish spread called smalec. Granted you should add bacon in it along with some seasoning (onion, salt, pepper, other bits of pork products). Basically chop the bacon, cook it, add your seasoning, pour into a container and let it sit overnight to solidify. Then use as a wonderfully

highly recommend it, binge watched season 1 just before season 2. show gets better as it progresses

I might like my coffee darker and always had an issue in that iced coffee waters down the coffee itself. To prevent this, I came up with my own way to make coffee, albeit one that takes longer.

I use a spreadsheet to go over finances. Just about all my purchases are on my credit cards so I confirm the charges line up once a week. I also check the deposits and withdrawals/payments from my checking to make sure the amount line up. This is then used to calculate an overall standing for both the month

I agree that it can be beneficial to get a new car with warranty. I think the better questions to ask is why a person with a score of 620 is looking at cars in the high 30's or low 40's. It’s not exciting but in their case, I’d be looking at a Corolla, Mazda3, Golf, Civic, Sentra, Elantra, or similar. Inexpensive,

I remember when sliders were big and getting a lot of flak for breaking quickly. To fix this, Samsung actually created a fantastic mechanism for their D500 and later phones that was metal and spring loaded. I can’t recall anymore how much but do recall it going through rigorous testing. I still have my D500 and U600,

May be hard for a two lane but 3-4 lane, agree. This should be enforced more. Only concern is how do you go between impeding the flow of traffic and not speeding?

Personal preference but wish more companies would have a separate partition for OS only, even if it’s one drive. Should something happen to the OS where I want to reinstall from scratch, I can do so without wiping the documents and apps I have loaded on the device.

Live in Chicago but have been in Colorado through blizzards many of times in FWD and RWD vehicles and had no problems with snowtires. AWD is a great benefit but won’t help at all if you tires have poor traction.

Got a chance to catch the movie yesterday. Overall, liked it more than I thought I would. First one wasn’t all that great apart from the action but that’s what I wanted to see. Second one’s story was a little more of a stretch, if it’s possible with these movies, but overall fun. Two knocks against it for me though:

I still have mine but post maybe once every two or three months, if at all really. Going on vacation and being disconnected really led me to just step away from FB and not go back. It still makes it easy to keep up with friends and relatives across countries or coordinate large events, otherwise I would have deleted

Audi has the park button separate, or at least on the images I recall it does. Kia has a very similar one in the new Stinger and it also has a separate park button but it was much more intuitive than what this video shows. It took a moment to get used to when test driving it.

That’s horrendous. How was that even allowed into production?

Actually really like it too, and kind of hate myself for it. Props to Toyota for finally making a good looking economy car and not going down the racer road that Honda did.

Wasn’t a fan of the style at first but really grew on me. Had the chance to own a 99 GS, sadly had to settle for the lesser version, and really liked it. Still can’t believe the 2.5gens are 20 years old and still look good.
