Whether they do or don’t as a whole, It’s still a good company to look at. They do have more plastic than I like but they’ve also really improved. Those that shop only for reputation and labels miss out on a lot of good deals.
Been eyeing the thruxton for some time now. With the R coming out, might be time to stop by the dealer and check them out. Seems like all the weaknesses are being addresses here and it looks great
Russians had the IS-2 & 3 tanks with 122mm guns. There were tanks with larger guns than the 88mm but most were fixed barrel tank hunters. What made the 88 so special was its high velocity and distance since it originated from an AA-gun.
Awesome. Been eyeing Thruxtons so might just have to wait until the Thruxton R comes out and take it for a ride.
Came from a family where we didn’t have much money when we came to this country and two things stick out to me immediately that I’ll address separately:
It’s close but looks like they toned the Civic down, at least looking at the pics it seems that way. Won’t know until I see one on the road but it does look good.
first thought too but couldn’t find confirmation
Pretty much nailed it with a few exceptions. while a $40k car is a lot of money right out of college, even for an engineer, rent and owning a home differ in areas for cost so if he’s to move to Iowa, he’ll be able to afford that and a home than if he was moving to California.
price is a bit too specific since I would love to own an F40 but would have to be a millionaire to do so. Honestly, I would say a max of 50% of my salary for the value of a car but more realistically, I try to stay below $40k after everything as there are lots of good new and used cars in that range.
Fantastic article and hits the nail on the head. I hate when people ask me what the best car/phone/speaker/etc is since it depends on what you’re using it for. Each device has a purpose, hence why it exists and is around, and you just have to match what you’re looking for with that purpose otherwise it’s like trying…
It depends. I’m generally open with the cost of purchases and income but won’t openly talk about figures unless someone asks. It’s more of my upbringing that if I start to talk about money, it feels like bragging and I’ve been taught that how much you save is more important then how much you spend. example: I bought X…
Great approach and curious how it’ll be. Biggest lacks during gaming is the lack of feedback from the clutch pedal and the feedback from the car. You can tell once you’re getting close to red line in a car but I always have issues with games
Agree. Finally saw one on the road and it’s just so different than anything there. I was it at the dealer too but that wasn’t enough.
It’s just different than anything out there. I have a motorcycle and faster cars than this and I would still buy this if I could
