The real problem with the movie is that they didn't do what South Park did. SP took a TV show and really went the movie route with all the restrictions of TV removed. I was sad that they cut out the mindblowing ending of The Time Travelers. In the movie, after they follow them into the reborn future, we see the people left behind go through the portal, have their adventures and then return to the present. Over and over again, faster and faster.
