Spin was published three years before Under the Dome. Also, it's nothing at all like the Stephen King book. It's a really good book—all three books in the trilogy are. Robert Charles Wilson is an excellent science-fiction writer—the best, IMO. I hope Syfy won't make a mess of the series.
