Nice concept... But “Linux only”!??! C’mon man.
But cool story Bro.

The software package I use all day long has 5,000 pages of online help. Using the Google search by site gives much better results than their internal help search.

I bought a knock-off MacBook charger. Never again.

It does seem odd to make compatibility an issue when it can apparently be solved with a simple software update. My guess is companies were locked into one side or another (maybe contractually) and are now able to make their own decisions.

Yeah yeah, they’re fucked. But for some reason I still kind of want the stupid glasses. Can they sell the massive inventory at a super cut price please?

That’s not how it works without an OLED screen which only the X has.

It’s crowded, it’s expensive, and it’s full of tourist traps that give you none of the city’s unique flavor. Every New York resident you meet there does not want to be there, so you’ll come away thinking we’re dicks.

Well this article is some serious clickbait. I wanted to read about why I should avoid Times Square, and got nothing more than what the freaking article’s title gave me. Ridiculous.

How fucking dumb are these people? Do they have anyone there who has a clue about how in demand these things were obviously going to be? Even after the NES debacle, they still fucked up the SNES?

This still doesn’t explain why they just decided to stop making NES Classic. Once they saw the popularity, they could have helped avoid or minimize the overpricing by just making more. I guess they just didn’t want it to compete with the Switch or the subsequent SNES Classic, but I think there is a market for all

Public Urges Nintendo: Meet the Demand of the SNES Classic

The Google screed-writer’s intentions are different because they are built from widely discredited pseudoscience, and demanding that they be given equal weight with “women are as capable as men” is ludicrous. The debate he wants was already had, and lost, and its losers refuse to admit that or educate themselves.

Uh, maybe I’m missing something, but macOS already has a “Do Not Disturb” feature that is supposed to block notifications when you turn it on.

Terri, CLEAR YOUR FUCKING INBOX!

It will help guide our way to Candy Mountain, Charlieeeeeee.

The US has a long, sordid history of rugged individualismthat is mostly bullshit. Politicians appeal to that idea and get people to go against their own best interests so the politicians can funnel money to their buddies instead of building a society.

The fact that we’re actually having (and apparently, are somehow losing) a debate about whether all children deserve healthcare is a sign how completely broken a society we are.

That would be tied to the same as the video bug, above.

Most of those "unneeded" updates are security hotfixes and performance updates. Considering a majority of users worldwide use Win7 and WinXP, Microsoft has to at least stay somewhat on top of critical security holes. Generally it's a good idea to install all of the updates listed as important from Microsoft.
