Of course they are heroes.
Of course they are heroes.
They helped GW invade a country.
Exactly- there is a big difference between covering the war from the ground in IRAQ, and going to the White House to write down the lunatic ravings of a mad man and then pointing out that it is in fact, the lunatic ravings of a mad man.
I mean he explained that people who report in war zones and cartel land are heroes. That would encompass those 2,291 heroes. The ones who aren’t reporting from somewhere dangerous are just people doing there job. I have coworkers who did audit work for military in Iraq. Their compound got shelled and some were…
It’s crazy that is has taken a meglomaniac’s screaching about the press for them to get off their asses after 24 years of giving sitting Presidents handies under the table.
99.999% of them aren’t standing up for anything. just like under the gw bush administration, they’ll make a bunch of noise for years on end, screw up 95% of coverage, then spend a few years patting themselves on the back for the 5% they got right and explaining there’s no way they could have saved the rest.
Slightly tangential: I believe all movies about LA, acting, New York, or Old Hollywood, should be banned from Oscar consideration.
“Those are just numbers that you put in the paper that don’t mean anything.”
KD might want to wear a cup at their next practice.
I’m originally from the Coal Region in Pennsylvania. People legitimately voted for Trump based on some perceived ‘danger’ Hillary presented to Coal workers / distributors / etc.
I’m sure that genius would prefer to be drafted involuntarily.
It’s as if they’d never seen fire before. Then Trump pulled out a Bic lighter and sudden amazement happened! Ook aak Trump!
I love when people use this argument. Our country’s collective fore bearers couldn’t agree that owning other human beings was bad. I don’t give half a fuck what they would think.
This is the talking point that kills me every time Trump or one of his zombies repeats it. Our military is the strongest in the world by far. We kill Muslims daily with robots and almost no casualties of our own. We have the most aircraft carriers, fighter jets, submarines and nuclear missiles.
I stopped after the first one when I reached this part “so many bellicose overtures about going to war with Russia.”
I live and work in Alabama, by the way.
When Obama got elected, my aunt, god rest her since-departed soul, told me he was going to “dismantle the military”. I didn’t bother to argue -- where do you even start?
I finished it and I am surprised to say that not one person used the words Muzlin or Benghazi.
It’s honestly better to stop arguing with folks who are so deluded they actually think that a) Obama is a muslim and b) it shouldn’t matter if he was. He’s not, but who cares at this point. My dad, who I thought was reasonable about politics told me he was scared that the U.S. would succumb to Sharia Law under Obama.…
Anyone who finishes this whole piece has a stronger stomach than I do.
