I’ve been livestreaming MLB in HD for years. It works wonderfully, so long as you don’t live near your favorite team. The technology is there, but the big sports leagues are still terrified that streaming will devalue their lucrative TV contracts.

Comic books are like SciFi for people who don't know anything about real science or entertaining fiction.

Why don’t these people just get with the times and get Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, or any of the other insanely cheap services that offer the same trashy cable show reruns commercial free any time they want.

And yet every time I suggest that PC gaming is too expensive for most consumers I get blasted by the PC Master Race who claims you can build a magic gaming rig for less than the cost of an Xbone.

You’re completely wrong. Things like fake gold chains, expensive rims, and Air Jordan’s are most popular among those on the lower end of the economic ladder because they are believed to denote status.

The interesting thing is that most people who do that for the “status” are really just of the middle or lower class but are desperately trying to convince people otherwise, often going into debt to do so.

Id say it actually makes science looks good. A religion or political party would never admit that they were wrong. Science has the integrity to not only admit it’s mistakes but actively look for them.

Despite the occasional Science Rockstar like Niel DeGrasee Tyson, science isn’t a career for people seeking fame.

Regardless of intent, falsifying data is the most shameful thing a scientist can do.

That’s not how the transitive property works. Just because X says Y; and X is Shitty, doesn’t mean Y is wrong.

When people falsify data to “prove” something that fits their worldview, they’ve completely failed to grasp the basic concept of the scientific method.
