Incorrect. Although the tech was limited to CDMA Rev B for simultaneous talk and surf, SVDO allows for it. Thunderbolt and the GS3 on Verizon are prime examples of talk and surf on CDMA.

It used to be limited to CDMA Rev B. But no one upgraded the infrastructure to Rev B in America. The work around was SVDO and can be seen on many devices like the Thunderbolt and Incredible.

It also added a decent sized rock.

Engadget doesn't add sensationalism and is fairly unbiased unlike Giz. They are less personal and more straight to the fact.
