Well we know it’s a lot faster than a bmw m3.

None of those companies are known for making great v-8’s and decided to put a motor originally designed for a truck in their car.
When is GM going to make the Corvette it’s own brand? Or at least get them away from the Chevy dealerships. I recently went to look at a Grand Sport, my salesman reeked of cigarette smoke and knew nothing tangible about the car. The same day I go to the Porsche dealership, they are dressed in suits(maybe too much…
I would say that sums it up. Except they will probably end up in a museum. Which I don’t mind. It beats the family more than likely fighting for them.
That’s great! It’s rare his cars get out of the garage.
It’s one of many collector corvettes that he keeps at his house. The family rarely gets to see, much less touch them. I go there every year for Thanksgiving and Christmas, and the last time I saw his collection was maybe 10 years ago. He’s an interesting man to say the least.
Thank you for your kind words.
That’s a great camera to learn with. If your lenses have vibration reduction, remember to turn it off whilst using a tripod. With vr turned on the elements free float inside the casing. When your shutter opens and closes, the vibration it causes can make the free floating elements move ever so slightly. Causing a…
Thank you very much! To help you out, my camera setting for this shot was iso 100, aperture of f13, with a shutter speed of 20 seconds. The lens I used was a 70-200 set to 185mm.
That’s great. Like what you’re doing with your son, my great grandfather put a camera in my hands at a young age. I gained an appreciation and respect for nature, and to see the beauty in details that are often overlooked. I’m sure your son will gain all that and more. Are his arms ever sore shooting a full frame…
The common term is a long exposure. You are leaving the shutter open so the sensor can collect as much light as you allow it to. For best results a tripod is mandatory. Since you are leaving the shutter open, anything that moves will become blurry. And the longer you leave the shutter open the more blurry moving…
Luck only comes into play when its backed by knowledge and skill. I hope you still practice.
Your photos are of higher quality and show you have a greater technical skill than the photos shown above. As a photographer myself, I find them a little lacking. Does the Navy train photographers like some of the other branches?
I think the stigma for any vehicle comes from its intended purpose, in contrast to how the owner uses it. A lot of sports cars never see a track, and a lot of full size trucks 4wd or 2wd, never see a trail or tow anything heavy enough to even necessitate a need for it. Maybe the person who buys a lesser model is a…
I believe GM put the 5.3L in the twins later in their production cycle. Or I could be thinking about the H3.

Another comparison can be made about the SS.
