Most displacement, basically when a tenant is necessarily forced out of their home, that happens in this city are not by formal court order. They are effectively evictions by harassment, intrusive construction, building conditions, or priced out by exorbitant rent hikes.

The sweater is so cute!

I think that Coach is one of those brands that makes lower quality items specifically for their outlets, which has been a problem in recent years with outlets. Beware the siren call of outlet malls.

Clare V is very affordable and colorful

Actually the price of lobster has gone done considerably in the last year due to warm waters and surge in supply. My grocer has sales some weekends of 6.99 live lobster that they will boil for you—but you could go all Annie Hall if you wish.

Check out Garrett Leight. There's an awesome local optician in Houston called Smith Optician. Great tastes. I think they have an online store but has lots of indie brands to check out. Seriously Garrett Leight eye ware is pricey but thin and nerdy.

I HATE round toed ballet flats!

Free People did not manufacture this Hula Hoop—I'm sure they bought it wholesale by someone else. They decided to carry it, but they didn't manufacture it (that's not their model).

My boyfriend and I eat at home 5-6 nights per week. I do 99% of the cooking. I plan meals so that we have lunch to take from home, but I also get bahn mi or pozole a couple of times a week (about a five dollar expense). We socialize over dinner and drinks once a week or so at new restaurants or BYOB ethnic

I was trying to be helpful. Old beans are nasty. That's all.

I do not recommend keeping dried lentils and beans for more than a year. Even dried beans go bad, especially if you get them from a bulk bin with an undetermined harvest date. Really, next time you try to make lentil soup they are going to be dry and hard. Just use what you have. Organizing in glass containers is

She's a perfect stand in for Jessica Paré (Megan). That said, the clothes have always been fug.

I can understand not wanting to eat cat or dog meat, but I doubt most of us have had horses as pets. So what's the big deal? They are not any more intelligent or sympathetic than other livestock. You like the taste? It's ethically raised and slaughtered? Go nuts.

Well, you could choose to terminate one twin. Really. I would.

I did so much batch cooking today! I wish that I did it more often, but today we went over to the wholesale Mexican produce market. I was so inspired and just kept cooking, and cooking, and cooking. I bought a huge bag of carrots ($2) and peppers and beets...

I'm the same way! The only way I can avoid drinking at home in the evenings is if I have a 12 pack of San Pellegrino or Topo Chico in the fridge. I just need to drink something fun, but not much of a soda or juice drinker.

Thanks! I think it is considered sound "relationship advice" to not do all activities with your partner. I've often read women's mags cite gym time as a time to be independent from your partner. They imply you don't have a life or won't go on dates if you work out together. Sheesh.

It might present a challenge to some people. Although I have an unusual schedule (under-employed, self-employed ish), I still mostly work around my partner's 8-6 pm job schedule since we go together. I also am in charge of the cooking. I make dinner early in the evening (5 or so), make it to work out by 8 pm (central

Maybe you can try just going to the gym together, as opposed to working out together. And maybe get him to take some classes you enjoy. My guy is more fit than I am, but I can out pretzel him at yoga. Maybe you're better at spinning, or kickboxing.

I have exercised on and off for the past couple of years. I've learned about my own habits and motivations about exercising.
