The Hand have always been the least interesting part of these Netflix Marvel shows. At least the Defenders is as much a show about getting these four casts together as it is about teaming up to defeat the Hand. And maybe we can move in new directions in the next seasons.

To be fair, Splinter was always a knockoff on Stick (sticks can give you splinters), just like the TMNT fight the Foot Clan of Ninjas – a knockoff on The Hand.

Didn't Jessica get hit by Elektra and then couldn't catch up to her? She could tell that Elektra can really kill when she wants to.

Exactly! Jar Jar and C-3PO only work because they're necessary fools, and everyone else realises it, rather than acting like they're normal members of the group.

THANK YOU.

Perhaps that's why he's "out of the country?"

They already announced the different showrunner. Though the first season's showrunner went on to do a different Marvel TV show…

i.e., Batman Begins minus the bits Daredevil took.

It's a lot better than the hate online makes it out to be. Just be in for a long haul. The first few episodes are weak, but it's the kind of show that gets better the longer you stay in the game.

Let's all start believing the women, shall we? There's wayyyyyy too much victim shaming in our rape-tolerant culture.

And Mark Antony is actually portrayed to be HRC.

Unfortunately, that wouldn't work as Guardians 2 takes place in 2014, while Coulson doesn't go to this space station until 2017 (and the scene possibly takes place in 2018, depending on when ep5.01/89 is released/takes place).

Hey people still play PoGo

SWORD is co-owned by Fox and Marvel Studios.
It was even used in an alternate ending to Thor included on the 10-disc Phase One box set. The situation is similar to Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, as well as the Skrulls.

Joss, not Jed, but the point is well taken.

The first Thor movie references S.W.O.R.D. (Erik Selvig is cross-referencing S.H.I.E.L.D. and S.W.O.R.D. data in the stinger as he studies the Tesseract in the alternate ending on the Phase One 10-disc box set).

That's actually explained! It's a garbage planet, where all the waste of major planets get shipped off-world. He fell down a garbage compactor, and was taken out with the trash!

Gotcha. I think that show is ultimately better bc it's had a longer run, but I much prefer the art style of Rebels.

Maybe around here, C1-10P is hated, but I like the cantankerous little guy.

It's the prologue chapter in the recent novel "Ahsoka."
