Oh, interesting actually! I’m out on the CA West Coast in September. What’s good tipping practice?

It’s an absurd model. Pay people a living wage! I’m always shocked when I come over to the US. I pay standard tips because it’s practice, but that’s it. I always read the tip related articles because I don’t want to screw anyone over, but then I see comments like “well they fucked up and I got the wrong dish and…
It’s just so full of positivity. I love it!
Yeah, that’s what I figured. My understanding was that a few of the S2 eps were held back for S3 (no idea why), so I guess there were a couple spare kicking around? I think they didn’t do themselves any favours with a lot of the S3 content (UNTIL THE VERY END), so really not all that confident about them getting…
He is an actual rainbow personified. I love his positivity so much!
Seriously. Obama gave everything for 8 years. Many people have done nothing but spit in his face. He can take as long a break as he wants/needs.
Nice! I mean, if you’re already in the oat business, this seems like a good product to add to the portfolio? The margins must be insane.
Seriously? How? What? How much? I can’t imagine a cat makes that much milk at once. Did she save it up? Was she trolling? Is it that fake non dairy kitten milk you can get at the pet store?
I’ve never actually seen hemp milk here, but I’ll see whether I can’t find it online!
Pretty much what you’d expect like. Faintly oaty, but not crazily so. I find it’s a veg milk that actually goes well with coffee. I mean, it’s basically a couple spoonfuls of oats blended to hell, so as long as oats don’t offend you, you’re fine. It’s surprisingly creamy compared to other veg milks.
Right?! It’s my go-to veg milk. Soy and almond are just too environmentally problematic for me and less tasty, so it’s win-win as far as I’m concerned.
I’ve tried the pea milk, and I gotta say it’s the one veg milk that’s a hard pass from me. It’s weirdly cloying. Just no. I want to say that the brand was Nilk? Would love to hear if anyone’s successfully tried other brands.
We have a similar problem with cow’s milk not costing enough for farmers to even break even. There’s a massive oversupply problem combined with basically an industrial buyer cartel pushing prices down. It’s fucked up
Forgive my busted sarcasm radar if I’m misinterpreting your comment, but grain water is great! Better for the environment than the nut variety and can easily be made at home as well!
I saw this interesting article about the benefits of introducing oats into crop rotation. I’m all for it! Also, Oatly is legit tasty (and you can replicate it yourself at home really easily).
I’m so glad Louis was there!! My private can’t-separate-fact-from-fiction fantasy was Donna as the sassy bridesmaid. She’d have killed it. Tbh, I would LIVE for a Suits/Wedding crossover.
I’ve watched all of it! It’s fine middle of the road+ fare. I’d give it a solid B+. Not too taxing, not outrageously dumb. Extra points for Gina Torres and Sarah Rafferty. The outfits are killer, The plot is fine. I’ll probably keep watching until they stop making it, tbh.
Same. My parents have farming and factory work backgrounds. Their view was why the hell would you want to do MORE physical work??? So yeah... Working out wasn’t really a learned thing during childhood (we always did a lot of hiking, outdoorsy stuff, but basically just for funsies). Changing that pattern is hard.
I’ve had a google and it looks like the name of the spin-off was just announced yesterday (Second City). I wasn’t super keen on the Chicago plot, but I’d watch Gina Torres watch pain dry, so.......
I hope so! I mean even the Pippa-fever petered out after the last wedding and those two sisters seemed to get along...
