I agree. Adore is actually my fave SP album (I’m way alone in that I know) but I stuck on til the band’s natural end. It was WORTH IT because Machina II/friends & enemies of modern music was SO GOOD.

I was gonna say that SP acoustic is one of the reasons the band has enjoyed sustained interest beyond just their “rawking” years. “Jupiter’s Lament” (actually all of the Tonight Tonight single) & “If There Is a God” come to mind.
