I actually quite liked the episode. Though I'm not sure if it's because I didn't see the serials it's seemingly stole from.

"Old German things"
Really? The one thing that really bothered me about Klaus in TVD was that he didn't kill anyone except (SPOILERS, I guess) Jenna and Carol and that was seasons apart. Canon fodder don't count as killings and even those were few.
I'll never forget: "I'm bad with purpose."
There is a clear difference between what Klaus says and what he means and you should know that. Shame on you.
The more I think about this episode the more I love it…
Fair point.
Even The Master, Rassilon or Borusa? It's a Doctor thing for me. I'd even go as far as to say, it's a doctor thing.
@avclub-b9a25e422ba96f7572089a00b838c3f8:disqus I don't agree. what's with the mention of the Valeyard then?
I think the rehab arc could turn out pretty fun too.
No. I know John Hurt is not the "Doctor" but he is still a previous version of him. This means Matt Smith is playing the Twelfth version of that Time Lord, whatever his name is. And that means this shit is going down THIS CHRISTMAS.
I kind of saw this coming, though, even if I didn't want to believe it. I mean, if you add up the window, the mention of the Valeyard and the "fall of the Eleventh" (I suddenly became aware, despite what I said, that the only way Moffat could make this phrase mean what it most obviously means and make it surprising…
That is my non-response, not acceptance of your comment; since stating the obvious is not productive as discussion.
The video will be a shock. I can't fully believe it. The video will be the death of me.
Nice nostalgia re-watch list :)
@avclub-2a5866203b479586ecc9183837a2d3e0:disqus That's interesting. I'm neither American nor British and I would still prefer a black/female Doctor to a non-British one. To me it's all about the Britishness in it so I would hate it if it became Americanized (I laugh nervously every time I see the movie trailer), even…
I'm making a t-shirt out of this.
This is true, I've seen it. @avclub-b9a25e422ba96f7572089a00b838c3f8:disqus I will follow your rule. Please let me know if I do.. *pastes post-it on the fridge*

@avclub-825f9cd5f0390bc77c1fed3c94885c87:disqus That is true, but I think it was mostly about teenage girls as a stereotype than actual reference to teenage girls. If it was, then you're right; in any case, their opinion is still as valid as any others. Just my opinion.
On the other hand, personally, when Moffat took…
