Fanciest gym in town is under $100? We live in different United states of America... We have several $500 a month, or $100 per class gym where I live.

UFC Gym forever. It's semi expensive ($100 a month) and worth every penny. Most of the members go pretty regularly.
I like it and enjoy it. I just find it hypocritical that Justin Timberlake supposedly appropriated culture while Bruno Mars doesn't. (I personally don't care who sings what, music evolves and improves because different people experiment with styles and influence!)
Provocative question: Bruno Mars, were he white, would be blamed of blatant cultural appropriation for his use of funk and Motown imagery and sound. He doesn't because he is dark skinned. But he is not black. How is this different?
Bruno Mars gets not enough fucking credit. He is perfection.
Priding yourself in having a black friends is pretty fucking weird.
I find this essay faulted in its very use of "white people". The United States IS obsessed with race, race haunts the American psyche at every turn. The very use of the term "people of color" suggests there are two groups - people who are of color and people who are not. "People of non-color" don't share a set of…
"basically porn for animal/Henry Cavill lovers" Christmas comes early to the Maquina household.
I like it too, but I think the singer is too busy showing off her chops to actually sing it properly.
I'd wager she took singing lessons to sing that. I think she sounds lovely. Many singers have gone way crazy with the display or range (I blame American Idol).
The Greek system and rape. A toxic combination in our already unhealthy university justice system.
No, they are not. 99% of gym have you sign a waiver where you agree to not hold them liable for any of the incidents you mentioned above. I believe in transparency, and it's important to state the risks. But consumers, in my opinion, should be able to choose.
The risk, being quite different, makes this a very bad analogy.
Sure, it isn't the best model, but in the end, the consumer should be able to choose when, and if, to absorb that risk. Uber should be more transparent, sure. But many industries in the US allow for the consumer to assume risk. Gyms, for example, do so.
She is super rude and entitled. Until that stops, I cannot get behind this woman.
Meh. Not my job to sustain the bureaucracies involved in taxis. Uber has done some questionable things, but offering car rides is not one of them. Free market competition y'all.
"Not really sure how Kimye are any less tasteful than, say, Blake Lively" Come on now.
Classinc thespian JL Hewitt.
She actually has a lovely voice. Not that it will guarantee success. But she is very talented. Simon Cowell had offered her a record deal before she began modeling.
In her Living Color days she was styled very differently. She could easily be of mixed race. Race is sort of fluid, so it's possible that he saw a girl, assumed her to be at least part black, and wrote a song about an ass like hers. Or, that he wrote the song and 20 years later needs some publicity and made up a story…
