“Here - take the wheel!”

So that’s actually at the heart of the matter. GM made the near-disastrous decision to overweight trucks and SUVs for the North American market.

The U.S. may be the second largest market, but that doesn’t mean the rest of the world follows U.S. trends. If it did, then China (#1 market) and Western Europe (#3) would have followed the road of over-sized trucks and SUVs.

This is an interesting point - everyone always (I know) says they’d gladly pay extra, but when consumers vote with their wallets, they support low-cost carriers and then complain about the cramped seats, lack of amenities, and the fees.

they’ll find a way to maintain those profits

Let each passenger pay for what they use and nothing more

...with the U.S. CEO wanting more SUVs and vehicles he felt were suited for the American market...

So, management decided to lay off the Horn

There - fixed it for ya

It’s the same in the U.S., ATM fee plus the fee from your bank

I use DOS6 at work and am not thrilled. Is much rather have CP/M.

How long before this shows up in Nice Price or Crack Pipe?

Good catch - looking at few photos, I’m thinking it was an Apache with the 30mm chain gun that day, not the Cobra. This seems very close to what I remember...

This is a thing in SoCal (and elsewhere). Happened to me several times.

Years ago we got to see an airshow demo. The pilot demonstrated how the 50 cal under the nose tracked wherever he was looking. I’ll never forget that when the pilot looked at us, so did that BFG. Still gives me chills.

Yeah, I can see how that would work. Good for hair removal, too.
