I guess that’s why they’re leasing only. No worries about resale or long-term concerns about refueling options drying up if they make some kind of guarantees for that in the lease agreement.

What happened to disco is like what happened to my wife and I with Trader Joes.

Um...has anyone told the CEO of Honda (or Toyota) that there are like 50,000 EV charging stations and maybe like a dozen hydrogen fuel stations left?

Surely the F150 held its value better than a Mustang or a used BMW. Just sell it and buy something used that’s more fun, no?

Reverse:

I feel you, brother... I FEEL YOU on this one. I can’t die until I own an NSX

If there was a book written about the fall of Nissan and Infiniti, I’d assume this car would be on the cover.

My very first new car was a ‘79 Honda Prelude. I liked the car, but got talked into a lease. Never leased again, after that.

I believe they mounted the bags incorrectly, which causes the airbag to deploy in the wrong direction, sending shrapnel to the passenger’s face

Buying my F150 crew cab. I mean, it’s served me well and has needed little. It’s just a matter of circumstance. I bought the truck to tow my race car, and six months later the pandemic happened. I never went back to the track and eventually sold the race car. Now I have this big, dumb, lumbering thing that uses way

Fuck me, that felt personal.

After driving a first-gen M45, you’d recognize that this was truth in advertising. The car was like a Crown Vic that could actually kick ass.

I worked at Ford when there was a recall for an airbag connector for the steering wheel. It’s only 2x 8mm bolts to pop out and pop a new one in. Just need to disconnect the battery and let it sit for 10 minutes or so to de-energize the air bags before removing.  Unless this is something more complicated I don’t see

Awesome write-up, thanks for the article. If I was in the market, this would absolutely be my next car. Currently have a 2018 Model 3 Long Range / Dual Motor with an extra 50 hp tuned in, and even at 3.7 seconds it’s pretty damned quick. I haven’t been in the eye-watering 1.99 second Model S Plaid yet, but it’s really

You okay?

It’s Charmant, with an “a”.

What a sad daydream. That Infinity driver will go home to a wife that won’t acknowledge he even exists and two kids counting down the days until he dies of a heart attack while at an office job he loathes.

The Dodge muscle car is a ‘68 or ‘69 Super Bee. Basically the same car as the Charger, a B-body, just sheet metal that’s not a knockout like the Charger.

The model 3 is such a capable platform, the “last gen” performance model was great, and could really lay the power down, I am all for even more power with the highlander.
