If someone is going to do some “wrong doing” in this country, then the authorities already have a means for finding him utilizing technology: they get a warrant and search all available databases, including the one owned by this private company. And no one would probably object to that.
We haven’t had our freedoms threatened by another country since 1945. Since then the enemies of our freedoms have been domestic, not foreign.
