When it comes to used vehicles like the Model S, I find there is a mix of buyers that range from realistic pricing to those who are living in a delusional fantasy.

If you keep the car and own it until it’s worn out (the way I do), then these price cuts are irrelevant.

4th Gear:  Those price cuts are music to my ears as this will help push down the value of used ones.  And I’m gonna be in the market for a used BEV later this year. 

I’m sure this thing is completely crap to daily drive.

I don’t see the packaging being any worse than the V6 escape. Here’s the V6 engine bay:

Oh yeah... it went through some packs and rear motors. But at nearly 2 million km, most vehicles would. But the point I’m making is about the statement “the EVs and especially Hybrids, will all be disposable junk soon.”

We have the same problem here in Canada where we’ve had cases of stolen cars being tracked by owners, info of where the stolen vehicle is provided to police, and in spite of all the investigative work done for them, they STILL can’t do jack shit about the issue.

When you say ‘worked on’, do you mean she worked on the design side? Or was she a mechanic? Or did she work in a plant assembling them?

Meh... Might be a NP to someone, but that someone isn’t me.  I’d only buy it if it was crazy cheap... like for $10K.
