“ I don’t know when exactly they got their shit together,”
1st gear: It was bound to happen eventually. This is another nail in the ‘pandemic pricing’ coffin that many vehicle sellers and dealers are still desperately clinging to.
“The Average EV Driver Is Sitting At A Fast Charger For More Than 40 Minutes”
For non-Tesla vehicles, it’s actually even worse than that. Even if they are capable of faster charging speeds, not-Tesla charging networks generally suck and often don’t work as advertised. Watch this video on the subject:

2nd Gear: I hope Rivian pulls through as well. I just did some checking regarding where they are selling the R1S and R1T... and it appears they are only selling their product in the USA and Canada... nowhere else. Not in the EU, not in China, nowhere else. And I think they need to expand where their R1 vehicles get…
“Good price as a project for those who really know and love these cars. Those with illusions that it has a cheap easy path to being what most people would consider an acceptable daily driver should run fast and run far.”
“I have no interest in a project car. Especially right now with me facing back surgery where even common tasks like doing a load of laundry leading me towards the Advil.”
It’s clear to me that based on the voting, many here don’t understand that a cheap old BMW is likely to be the most expensive car you’ll ever own (aside from things like a cheap Ferrari, Lambo, etc).
“More manufacturers will abandon touch screens, at least in limited ways, in favor of physical controls though. I hope. Please.”
