My guess, because the breakfast burrito had a foothold in California while the BT had a stronger  grip in Texas. When you had one there wasn’t as loud a call for the other.

Probably in the minority here but instead of Dragon Ball Z I would prefer a more faithful live action adaptation of Dragon Ball with little boy Goku running around with Bulma collecting dragon balls and fighting the Red Ribbon army. Also, Stephen Chow as Taopaipai.

Nothing about a race of space monkey people warrants them being Japanese or even Asian in general but if I were casting I'd go for a Chinese-American.
