Nintendo is concervative. They take hudge risks in design but only slight ones in manufactuting. That is how they survive bad bets like the virtual boy and wii u.

Does Nintendo consider it messing up though? In the past, it was their tactic to intentionally short supply of their product to retailers. It kept the demand high and kept the retailers beholden to Nintendo and whatever strategy they had.

I don’t think companies should give the games to any sites or youtubers or anyone whatsoever until the game is available to buy for everyone.

Micro SD (supports SDXC). And you’re right: if you’re going to be going digital, you should prepare to have storage for digital games.

I’m not too worried about Switch’s internal storage. If I have to buy a $20 SD (or is it micro-SD?) card to expand it out, so be it. I’m just thankful Nintendo didn’t take the Sony route, and make proprietary memory cards like they did for Vita and PSP.

Old Man’s Journey is an adventure game about shifting painterly landscapes to solve puzzles. Its story focuses on themes of life, loss, and hope, and it’s being developed by a studio that helped make games like And Yet it Moves, Secrets of Raetikon, and Guacamelee. It’ll be out sometime this year.
