Exactly. I rarely take it out of auto mode. There is simply no good reason to shift manually when commuting. It's only fun when driving hard. With SMG you have to shift manually to drive smoothly. But with the 7 speed DCT it's hard to optimize your upshift points. The computer is much better at calculating exactly…
