Were any of these cars offered with manual transmissions in other markets?

I think you're right. And that's why I'm avoiding all the first generation cars with these steering systems. It would be a bummer to spend 6 figures on a 991 and then later drive the replacement and feel like your car was a beta tester.

I live in OC. Probably half the people here are still Rams fans. If they moved back to So Cal it would make a ton of people very happy.

i heard the newer generation aren't AS bad. but they're still not as good as regular tires

I've never owned a car with run flats so I have no idea how bad they are.
