IMO the oversight issue is the main problem. Most police forces seem unwilling or unable to punish cops that do wrong. But maybe even worse than that is that even when things get to the courts cops are usually not punished.

It's not fair to lump all cops into one group. Some cops abuse their power. But not all do.

It's because Soccer Moms will still spend more money on gas to avoid driving a minivan.

Gotta love the Chevy big block V8s. My dad used to have a 1970 Chevy longbed with the 454. He used it to tow a decently large boat that he had bought used. He spent all his money on the boat and didn't have much left over for a truck so he bought the old beast for cheap. It lasted forever and didn't struggle at all…
