is extending the trial period legal?

my wristwatch is very useful. it tells me not only the time but also the date. also it doesn't run out of power and isn't as clunky as my cell phone. it serves its purpose perfectly.

oh. my. god. THANK YOU!!! thank you for the uk-pointer

@ItsSoFluffy!!: good point. i will have to think about that.

@pz: maybe we can agree that the site you're actually visiting plays a role aswell? like one would expect such things on stileproject but not on a techblog?

@pz: So if I click on an article about a new minimal invasive tumor-treatment as an alternative to a major operation I should expect to see, without warning, some pictures of a cut open body, organs and gore and stuff in plain sight and all? I don't think so.

@ItsSoFluffy!!: "I am however not so arrogant as to believe that mankind is the pinnacle of universal intelligence."

High powered Laptops with a HDD are still booting when my Vaio (VGN-NS21S) is already done with the

been there two years ago. the building is huge, especially since there are no other buildings in the area. actually there is nothing in the area. what i really didn't like (apart from the outrageous entrance fees) was the lighting. it was kind of half dark / gloomy in there. i got a headache after half an hour.

@A Flock of Smegal's: Number 1 was most important for me, after I tried out an early Sony-eReader-model in a bookstore. The page turns were so sloooow that I decided to wait some more, like two years or so. Kindle 3 is awesome speedwise (in comparison to other ebook-readers).

@Robbzilla: that hurt a little bit because it's true...

no winmo-love huh... i'm a sad panda now. sad, sad panda.
