I don’t want to be misleading. There’s people in Rikers who are there awaiting trial who are never going to be granted bail, ever. There’s repeat offenders and people who are accused of crimes that are so severe they shouldn’t be given a chance to flee at all.

I’m wondering if there’s some weird psychedelic splinter of the Red Pill types, or if there’s a Red Pill splinter of psychedelic types? In any event, the common thread is libertarian milieu and its various internet bred offshoots (Silk Road was big on both the hallucinogens and von Mises).

I don’t want this to come across as pedantic, but what makes the situation at Rikers so depressing is that it’s not a prison. Nobody is there because they were sentenced there. It’s a jail for people who are awaiting trial, most of whom were given a bail number that’s simply too high for them to post.

This comes right after somebody leaked a review of smuggling at Rikers where (surprise!) it’s corrections officers who do the vast majority of smuggling.

Only the residence of those holding certain opinions would change.

Not that I endorse it, but just that I’m familiar with the legal reasoning: an annulment in the Roman Catholic Church is a means of rendering a formally blessed marriage (e.g., one that has gone through the sacrament of matrimony) completely invalid from the start.

While they may be considered damaging to Manning’s reputation, the allegations were made by the alleged pill mill operator. Al Jazeera only reported what they caught on camera. They allowed Manning to give comment, and he refused. Their ass is covered.

In order to sue for defamation, you have to prove that there is material damage (lost contracts, etc). There is no reason for a defamation suit until you’ve lost something, and right now Manning’s approach has to be to make sure nothing is lost to begin with.

Al Jazeera has its moments, even in the Middle East. The reporters are largely people who have done work for various countries’ media outlets (in the early years, a disproportionate number were BBC World Service types). The case is that in any country, there are “red lines” that editors police for fear of a swift

Coincidentally, the two populations that receive HGH are children with stunted growth and people who are at risk of muscle wasting (like cancer patients). Maybe Brady’s just gonna take this kid’s stash when he croaks.

Oh, FFS, just watch the damn thing. Seriously. The people at the clinics all go around talking about their celebrity clients, how they manipulate patient charts, how to beat tests, the whole nine yards. They do this on a camera, the picture and audio is as clear as day.

Archie and Eli might have something against him being the Mr. Manning.

It’s “weird” but very smart. The pretense that AJE used to help get the truth out of the various parts of the ring (Canadian homeopaths, the clinics in Indiana and Austin) was that those clinics could expect to get new business out of UK-based athletes. With North American based sports leagues doing slightly better

Remember that schadenfreude literally means “pity joy.” It’s taking joy at the suffering of your enemies.

I’m watching the documentary. It’s clear that while Peyton gets the headlines, Sly’s biggest relationship by volume were a group of Green Bay Packers (where the players acted as referrer agents). But hey, they’re just good old fashioned blue collar boys in a franchise that’s owned by small town America. The

I hate to point this out, but if you watch the damn documentary, the doctors in the U.S. and Canada are pushing the stuff the entire way. There’s definitely moments where they are clearly talking about setting up false pretenses for prescribing drugs (“infertility” “exhaustion” etc.), how to beat tests, etc. All quite

There’s three factors here:

If it was a sectarian Christian acting against immigrants from the Middle East, it’s a real slap in the face of the rich symbolism of the Christmas story. Let’s recap this, shall we?

I know this is the prevailing sense of the year, and you can’t help but let the last part of it color your vision but... this was also the year we got legalized same-sex marriage nation wide, trans folks went from mascots to real people, one (!) black (!!) woman (!!!) climbed a flagpole and took on the whole
