I feel that the long play of EGS is to encourage developers to make the games they want using Unreal Engine and a higher budget ceiling, then when the game is profitable and popular when it launches on steam they collect the Unreal Engine license fee.

You’re talking about a 30% cut that you’re now able to completely bypass on all those said platforms on fortnight because of this “stunt” epic pulled. Don’t forget progression carries over because Epic pushed cross-platform play and unified accounts back in 2018.

I wish the game allowed the option to download certain textures/modes. The simple fact being that plenty of consumers won’t use 4k textures just because they’re worried about max fps in a competitive match.

there’s probably someone more knowledgeable than me but from what I can tell no. A quick strike unguarded will do similar damage to enemies in all stances. Can’t say about heavy attacks and their variations because it seems that different hits have different damages.
