Tasha's topic is one of the most annoying ideas to me. Characters doing stupid, out-of-character, destructive shit in stories never bothers me, because I actually, you know, hang out with "normal" people and "normal" people do brain-dead shit all the time, for no real reason. It's like the cliched "why do people run

I know I'm in the minority here, but I was actually pretty excited about this movie after the weird super bowl add, but then all the other ads started coming out and… the intensive CGI just doesn't do it for me anymore. It's not exciting. Between the SW prequels and LOTR, I've seen it all and I'm not impressed. Much

On the plus side: Check out Reks, Skyzoo, Marco Polo and Elzhi. Hip hop at its finest.

I was thinking it's rambling, ostensibly incoherent style was more Black Eyed Peas-ish.

I should've come up with the concept of this show. My friends (or, what's left of them) always give me shit, because I like about 80-percent of the movies I see regardless of quality. Like, I watch a movie and I know it's a bad movie, but I like it anyways. It was a decent waste of time. It's sort of embarrassing,

Twenty year old me would've been pretty psyched about hearing this news and paying lots of money to see this movie a couple of times. 27-year-old me shrugs, writes this post and moves on with his life….

Duck Soup is the obvious and simple choice. Monkey Business and A Night at the Opera were both funnier films in my opinion.

It's both, really.

Really? I thought the Asgardian scenes were so cheesy and had stretched the limits of my ability to suspend disbelief so much that they almost ruined the movie for me (with the exception of the female warrior Asgardian. She was cool. Idris Elba was cool too, but he's… Idris Elba.). I thought the earth scenes were more

So true. He was the best—and scariest— part of the The Gift and that movie had some good actors. Without him The Replacements is borderline unwatchable (some people might insist it still is, but I used to think it was one of the the best movies to watch when dealing with a hangover).

I'm thinking the same thing. The Hulk is actually my favorite character, but I wonder if the character works better as a support than as the protagonist. He could just show up randomly in Marvel movies and smash some stuff.

With the exception of 36 Chambers and OB4CL (and possibly The Chronic), Miseducation was on a whole other sonic level (as much as I like Illmatic, it wasn't exactly a new sound it was heralding forth, as much as it was just a particular sound done impeccably well). That's what was exciting about it. You had Aquemini

She just keeps striking me as insecure about a lot of things. Talent, beauty and intelligence for instance. She keeps saying Dayana and Lou didn't have any talent or intelligence, but, regardless of what she says, insulting people for a living doesn't take much talent or intelligence, either. The smartest thing she

The rape scene was infinitely more disturbing to me, by far.

For a few moments, I was all, "Yeah, car chase scenes are fucking stupid. They're just cars whizzing by the screen. They're for simpletons" Then I read the comments and I remember enjoying all those car chases mentioned, and then some. Car chase scenes are fucking awesome. The best part of a lot of movies (Death
