Eh, I know a few people who make a living (a really crappy one) digging through other peoples garbage, and have found working current gen iphones, TVs, tablets, etc. People throw away decent shit all the time. These finds are few and far between, but it does happen.

It really changes area by area, department by department. I personally find cops that actually have shit to do, such as those in high pop areas, are far better. I’ve never been pulled over downtown, or quiet literally “stalked” by a cop car for miles downtown, and any interactions I’ve had with police there have been

One of the first targets hit is always education, look at red states that decided on massive tax cuts (like OK, KS), education was cut to shreds.

“Then he should have to write a term paper on why starting a war for natural resources is morally repugnant and how goddamn horrifying and profitable (‘cause that’s all he understands) wars really are.”

I watched a documentary on netflix and feel I am already better able to navigate current foreign relations then donald is.

Is it wrong that after only ~30 minutes of watching a documentary I lost a lot of respect for Obama? Oliver Stone painted a rather harsh picture of the man, and also of Hillary. (This is not me saying I’d support Trump over her, but it is disappointing when the people you admire(d) are shown to be very flawed in many

The only solution I’ve personally ever felt was adequate to solve the problem was two-fold; A modest minimum wage (this can vary by state, but nationally I think 9-10$/hr is fair), and a more aggressive progressive tax system. Those who are exploiting our economy need to be reigned in by a much tougher progressive

Because most people see example after example right here in the U.S., where raising the minimum wage has a positive effect on state/local economies. Where as, on the other hand, lowering taxes has a negative effect on their economies. (See Kentucky/Oklahoma).

Because raising the minimum wage gives people money to spend beyond basic needs, which spurs economic growth and money spent in your small business. The increased business far outdoes the increase in labor costs.

The real way to solve this problem is by raising income taxes to truly progressive levels. A CEO making 100x what their average worker makes, needs to be taxed at a rate of around 65%, not 35% (or what the truly wealthy pay, around 15%). In this way services can be provided to the poor who aren’t making enough,

It’s not good to stereo-type, but I can’t help it in the grocery-store line.

+3 minutes to find the checkbook in their duffelbag-purse

I can’t speak for every pirate. But personally I’ve never bought a game because I was unable to pirate it. Instead, I lost interest in the game entirely and went on to something else, as there is so much more out there.

As a Doctor, you would think the man would have enough scientific training to know you can’t prove a negative. There is no way to prove vaccines can not under any circumstances cause autism, we can however assert there is no evidence of any kind that they do, and thus don’t.

I don’t see a lot of people claiming Hillary is “the change we need”. I certainly would never claim that.

Trump isn’t going to resign. If an idiot like G.W. Bush can run the country for 8 years, while seemingly being on vacation half the time, then trump can also half-assedly run the country for 4-8.

Problem with this is, filters aren’t perfect. Filters will end up blocking a lot more then just porn. Also, I didn’t know there was a McDonlads porn epidemic?

Nothing against Noah, but hes not a great host. His jokes and punchlines are often awkward, and he often doesn’t seem like he;

I think people are discounting trump if you think he has no chance of winning. Do you think his platform is going to look ANYTHING like it does now in a month or two? The man is out to win, he does not have political principals. Hes going to be out in force with a centrist, maybe even slightly progressive message for

The problem is, this cycle is unlike other elections, it is not a choice between two “bad” candidates, it is the choice between a good candidate (or bad if you hate Hillary, w/e) and a completely destructive candidate. If you “voted with your conscious” for change in the last election, or the one before that, I’m all
