It is indeed mostly junk, which I why I stopped getting most of it. Sometimes there’s good stuff. Usually not. The higher you’re ranked the better the stuff... but it’s still mostly junk.
See my comment. I posted an honest review and got hammered by votes that I can only assume were bought off Amazon Turk. There are honest reviewers of products there - I’m one of them - but Amazon’s policies make us afraid to post anything negative, so those of us who actually stand by our reviews tend to just not post…

Sorry, but your type of “I posted this review in return for a free product” is IMO in the same vein as the entirely fake ones. You might give honest reviews, but most of the rest of them are complete junk. I scan the last few sentences of each review and if I see this sentence or similar, I skip. I desperately wish…
I hope they succeed. I am getting increasingly fucking annoyed when I look at a product with five stars and they every single comment is and “honest” opinion for a product they got free or at a severe discount. Yeah, honest my ass. I’ve yet to see a single “honest” review that had less than four stars.
I hope that Amazon truly is cracking down on fake reviews, but I have reason to doubt it. Here’s why:
