And I will continue to select the “Notify After 24 Hours” option from now until Sony releases the PlayStation 6.

Oh boy, you don’t understand how averages work, do you?

It’s insane how easy it is to get by when you live within your means.

I’m looking at a chart of Gacha game $$$ for the first 6 months of 2020, and 24 Million would put it solidly at rank 17, beating out Azur Lane, SINoAlice, Shadowverse etc etc....and again those are revenue figures for 6 months.

You managed to miss every point made in this article.

so what you’re saying is that 24 million is so ... small? ... that it’s easy to lose sight of just how big the gaps have gotten? is that it? are you under the impression that 24 million in 2 weeks, being under projected, minimizes .. or is even germane to the point that making 24 million in 2 weeks is such a massive

No, they’re claiming it’s fun as long as “fully upgrading” your character isn’t your goal, but playing the game is.

I dunno professor, I’m guessing a couple of kids making minimum wage in Lincoln Nebraska might not be as tuned to (or afforded) the education/level of care that you were given. You’ve never acted impulsively out of anger when you were young without being a perfect communicator? Look at you!

Gonna have to make sure I can finish Fallen Order in time to pick up Survivor and support a developer with the fortitude to stand up for what’s right.

Well it’s been awhile since GT6 (2013). GT Sport was the only GT game on PS4, and it still sold 9.5 million? But yeah. “Niche”

Let’s not pretend like their second best selling franchise, Uncharted, doesn’t pump out games. (Prior to finally taking a break, we got like 9 games in 10 years). Still only sold like a half of GT so far. Before UC4, they were selling in the 3-7 million range, all far below most GT games.

Lol, it’s Sony’s best selling franchise. No, Gran Turismo isn’t niche.

Best selling PS1 game? Gran Turismo. Third best? GT2.

I don’t disagree that the latest GT had a worse reception than earlier games, but saying “yes, this game outsold most games on the console but didn’t outsell some of the best-selling games in the last five years” isn’t a very strong argument in favor of describing a game as “niche.” Lots of games didn’t sell as well

GT7 (a pretty niche series to begin with)

Sorry, I legit thought you were saying 1/10th of a cent. It’s not like a misspelled word typo.

I don’t necessarily disagree, but .1 cents is off by a factor of 100. Accuracy is important if you’re trying to make a point based on a number in good faith.

Uh, that’s 10 cents, captain math.

What, no Fallen Order? I enjoyed Fallen Order a whole lot. Definitely felt like a Jedi after the first proper boss fight against an Inquistor. And that ending sequence for the game is just unforgettable.
