So I’m guessing you’ve never played KOTOR II. Or that you ranted about how it, too, was being unfaithful to the mythos.

I mean, I don’t usually die from the exertion of a Skype chat, but maybe you do?

RTD was a genius! Moffat could never live up to the lofty standards set by fart aliens in Downing Street, or a guy getting a BJ from a paving stone. Blasphemy!

You say that as though RTD would have somehow done better. His finales were the worst in terms of logic, resets and deus ex machinas.

Ahem...

Someone actually got paid to write this article?

Goddamn dammit! Can we abandon this trend of pre-trailer-fast-cuts of the trailer we’re about see? It got old almost immediately.

They all seemed like ‘actual characters’ to me. The novels are merely surplus.

See, I always thought it was the equatorial trench, only because it’s the only visible one we ever really see. Yes, there are docking bays, but the thing runs around the entirety of the Death Star. I just always assumed it was somewhere else along the equator.

Agreed — Insurrection is utterly unwatchable.

This. Insurrection was SHOCKINGLY bad on every level.

There’s actually NO solid evidence to support that “language shapes how you think” theory. It’s a pretty unprovable hypothesis. How could you test it? it’s just a fun theory people want to believe.

“Im not a racist” - I just chose to elect one into office. Bravo dipshit.

Twin Suns huh?

I guess they don’t expect character drama in their superhero movies for some reason? I mean, not a comment on anyone’s intelligence, taste or opinion – but this was a very different sort of fight, and maybe for that reason subverts expectations a little too hard for people with this complaint.

Hmmm. You know what looks a LOT like The Flash?

I will argue up one side and down the other that Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (Gene Wilder version, obviously) was head and shoulders better than Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I like Dahl's work, but that movie was perfection.

It’s certainly not robbing the character Janeway of her dignity any worse than getting space salamander pregnant.

To be fair, the reason Moriarty was sentient was because the computer was told to make a character that would be a match for DATA, not Holmes. I would imagine that, normally, the characters are not created with that level of self-awareness and sentience. And The Doctor developed his sentience over time and evolution.
