Oh, me too. This season is way better than last season. I think it suffered from having to put its own storyline on hold for ages to set up Legends of Tomorrow characters, but... well if season 3 Arrow had to put its storyline on hold to set up something else, it probably would have been an improvement.

I’m not sure anyone wants to go to the actual extreme of the Flash, but rather... closer to that than what we have. More like the first Avengers film. Maybe not full on Guardians of the Galaxy.

My main complaint is not that the film is bad, but that as long as Snyder is helming the project, we won’t get a good Superman film for the foreseeable future. It’s not that it’s a bad film so much as that it’s a bad film that’s preventing better films on that character being made.

In my case, also, I’m not actually

But... the headline even mentions Batman v Superman. It tells you, straight up, in bold letters at the top that it’s going to be making a contrast. That’s hardly a random comment at that point.

Also, if you take into account trailers, straight up clips, Man of Steel, and everything Snyder has ever made, you can get a

Yep. Actually, I wouldn’t be nearly as irked about the Snyder-verse if we could get some live action shows for more of the core Justice League members. And a version of Hawkgirl who has characterization and is allowed to do things.

C’mon... Wonder Woman show! ... That isn’t a crappy unfinished pilot this time!

So, I don’t know much about Bizarro (never got to read many comics, sadly, still can’t afford them much now), but wikipedia mentions “The monstrous clone survives and ... possessed of only limited intelligence and vague memories of Clark Kent’s life, attempts to mimic Superman”

... Are positive he ISN’T Bizarro?

I feel like Amazing Spider-Man did this too. I don’t have evidence besides the fact that the colors just look really, really washed out. Why do people keep doing this?

Okay, new rule: If a superhero’s costume uses bright primary colors, like red and blue, the colors are supposed to be bright. I just... why...? Why

I’m hopeful for Flash season 3. I think the current seasons of Flash and Arrow got a little tanked by Legends of Tomorrow. Both had to take some time out to do setup for that show. Arrow more than Flash, but I think it really screwed with the pacing on both shows.

I’m actually really happy for this crossover, because it’s gonna motivate me to watch Supergirl. I don’t watch much TV, so the pilot sailed by without me noticing. And then I had to play catch up on Agents of SHIELD because the same thing happened to me there. (And Agents of SHIELD is awesome this year) And I have to

That’s a pretty good summary, but I wouldn’t say that’s a bad thing on principle. Now, you might have found this example of it bad, and that’s fine, I’m not gonna try to argue that. But the basic idea, if done well, can be fantastic. Hell, one of Star Trek: TNG’s better episodes was Picard restrained to something

I agree in that he could not sell mysticism... but I actually kinda liked it. I’m so used to, and kind of exasperated by mysticism, that it was kinda fun to hear Stick do it like it was an episode of Drunk History. That’s probably just me though.

I seem to recall Fisk having a monologue of similar length back in the first season. I always sort of saw Daredevil as a show that was not shy with regards to soliloquies. Which I kinda like, to be honest. But, uh, if nothing else, Frank’s is the longest, easily.

I also gotta say, considering that Frank Castle’s family were killed in the crossfire between a gang shoot out, and not in some deliberately arranged way... what are the freakin’ odds the man responsible is someone he knows? Sucker’s luck there, Frank.

Ninjas don’t count?

Or maybe Matt just figures they’ll come back to life like Nobu did. Stick’s not coming back if he’s killed. Probably. Yeah, I know, that’s a really weak justification... Especially because Matt also stops her from killing ninjas before Stick shows up. Though that was before he knew about the whole

Hell, even Electra herself told us she wasn’t staying down... but then they played it like a surprise anyway. It’s like the show is doing that Monty Python and the Holy Grail sketch...

For once, I totally agree. The TV show Flash does not look like a good fit for the DC cinematic universe, and getting a completely new version was 100% the right call.

The fact that Snyder might try to make 300esque films for other wars is, however, absolutely horrifying.

How so? I like the superhero genre, but I’ve hardly read any of the comics. I didn’t when I was a kid. I couldn’t afford it as a teen. Now, as an adult... I still can’t afford it. I grab a couple here and there, where I can. My experience with Superman comes from... the films, mostly, and the Justice League show. I’m

... Harley Quinn is a psychiatrist. Shouldn’t she be in med school?

You seem to be under the impression that, as a superhero fan, what I really want is superhero movies that suck, so I can hate them. I don’t know why you feel this way. I don’t. I really want superhero films that don’t suck, because I want to like them. I want to see my favorite characters brought to the big screen. I

I... I’m not one for childish jokes, but is the accepted onomatopoeia for Cap’s shield catch really “fap”?
