God damit! Why can’t we have nice wagons in the US.
That’s a nice wagon!
GTI Allroad.
Anyone who wonders why the estate tax exists should watch this video. No fucks given when you don’t earn the money.
As an avid cyclist who makes every effort to not be a dick, these assholes make riding more dangerous. Looks like more riding on the trainer indoors for me.
I call BS on going turbo to meet emissions requirements. I’m willing to bet that they have pushed the limits of a standard NA 911 engine, and this is the least expensive way to continue to add horsepower.
Honestly my wife and I have been kinda waiting for the Model X. She really wants an SUV and we need the extra room. My hope was that it would be similarly priced to the S with a similar range.
Nice! Another luxury station wagon.
For $25k you could get a regular (non-turbo) 996. Just make sure the IMS has been addressed. But honestly for $25k I’d get a nice Cayman S.
996 Turbo or a 964 C2/C4.
I’m so sick of this BS advice. Cars are the worst investment ever. If you want to count every penny you spend then don’t buy a car or buy the cheapest car that is reliable (which probably will be a 5+ year old Honda).
All I ask is one person link a document (different than the one for the Z06) from an OEM showing a recommended oil change at 1000 miles or less. Just because your salesman said you should, or you read it on a forum, doesn’t mean OEMs recommend this.
Care to show a link? I seriously cannot find a single manufacturer that has recommend an oil change at 1000 miles or less. On Lexus’ website, every IS model since 2009 was either 5000 or 10000 miles for the first oil change.
I can’t find that anywhere. All of their online manuals show 10k miles. No mention of a 1000 mile oil change.
So why didn’t GM recommend the 500 mile service initially? How about all of the people who bought their Z06 and hit 500 miles well before this recommendation came out?
So why do all the expert engineers at Porsche feel that it’s okay to sell high performance cars and not recommend changing the oil at 500 miles. They warranty the engine for 60k miles, so they are on the hook for making sure it lasts. Don’t you think if their testing showed that changing the oil in a new engine at 500…
There must be something serious going on. No manufacturers today recommend real early oil changes anymore. People tend to still do it for high performance cars mostly out of habit or misconception, but if manufacturers aren’t requiring it as standard maintenance then it probably has little to no impact. Even if it…
Or maybe the Ferrari-fire-insurance scam in more common than we thought.
No, but his dad probably makes a living hiding American money in Swiss bank accounts.
